Serengeti National Park, Tanzania – 2006. Serengeti National Park covers 14,763sq km of treeless plains that contain vast numbers of animals. We spent two nights at the Seronera Wildlife Lodge and did several long drives to different parts of the park. The Serengeti has many types of large mammals including wildebeest, zebra, elephants, giraffes and antelope as well as cats including lions, cheetahs and leopards many types of birds.
The drive to Serengeti. This road was very dusty but it was in much better condition that the roads we travelled in Kenya.
